A Few Ideas:  Use these fact sheets to decorate your walls.  Or you can print off one at a time and create a daily or weekly theme around it.  You can hang them in your lobby's Bulletin Board where the parents can see them.  Make a trip to the grocery store and show a picture and see if the children can find the fruit or vegetable in the store.

Set of 30 fruit and vegetable fact sheets with information about: nutrition, uses, description, varieties, where first cultivated and whether they are grown in Nebraska. Color versions are color-coded to the five color groups (black & white versions could be printed on colored paper).

Available in a "printable" .pdf format. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print.
